Ingredients for this parchment paper-based smoked salmon crostini
What makes this smoked salmon crostini the best? It’s easy to put together and takes very little time, allowing you to spend more time with your loved ones rather than fussing over a complicated appetizer. To make it, you’ll need the following:
Naturally, the French baguette is the foundation of the crostini! To make the basis for your toppings, cut your baguette into 1/2-inch pieces.
Olive oil: To ensure that your baguette slices bake up beautifully and golden, don’t forget to brush them with a little olive oil.
Cream cheese: For this dish, I adore using whipped chive cream cheese since it has the ideal light taste and texture. For further alternatives, look below!
Salmon: You may use any brand of smoked salmon you choose, although I usually prefer Nova lox salmon.
Red onion: to provide a little of crunch and zing.
For the perfect bite, sprinkle your crostini with chopped onions or chives and Everything But the Bagel flavor.

Personalize your panini
It’s simple to adapt this smoked salmon crostini to your tastes and to use whatever you have on hand:
Select the cream cheese of your choice. If chive cream cheese is unavailable, you may substitute it with softened cream cheese and a few teaspoons of minced chives. You may also use vegan cream cheese or, for a little heat, use jalapeño cream cheese in this recipe!
Give up dairy. Use your preferred dairy-free cream cheese, such as Mykonos.
Make it without gluten. Simple Use gluten-free bread or even gluten-free crackers in place of a standard baguette.

Three easy methods to make smoked salmon crostini
Make some bread. Begin by gently oiling the cut baguettes, then bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until the edges begin to turn a light golden color.
Put the crostini together. Once the baguette slices are cold, top with slices of smoked salmon, cream cheese, onion, a sprinkling of chives, and a dash of Everything But the Bagel flavor.
Transfer to a plate and serve. Serve the crostini by placing them on a charming dish or tray!

Storage advice: If you’re just serving a small number of people, I’d suggest only constructing the smoked salmon crostini that will be consumed. These are best enjoyed the day of preparation.
